In order to make the hammer have corresponding elasticity when hitting, the position of the middle part of the hammer handle near the top needs to be slightly narrower than the end. The connection between the hammer head and the hammer handle must be firm. Once the hammer head and the hammer handle are loose, or the hammer handle has split marks or cracks, it cannot be used again. It is better to add metal wedge to the mounting holes of the hammer head and hammer handle, and the length of the nail should not be longer than two-thirds of the depth of the mounting hole.
For the claw hammer, it cannot be used in the beating process of larger workpieces. When nailing a nail, the hammer head needs to hit the nail cap flat so that the nail enters the wood vertically. When pulling the nail, the wooden block should be placed at the horn. In order to enhance the pulling force, do not use the claw hammer as a prying tool. Pay attention to the integrity of the hammering surface to prevent the nail from flying out or the hammer from slipping and hurting people.
